I believe yoga is a non-religious tool to help us improve our lives and connect to inner spiritual guidance in these modern times.
I obtained KRI certification with senior Golden Bridge instructors and have taught yoga in studios around Atwater Village since 2010. I am a writer who has also studied theater and world dance since the early ’90’s. I have developed a daily Kundalini yoga practice that has helped keep me (mostly) sane in these fast times. I have found that the breath technique and mantra sound vibrations of Kundalini yoga are highly effective tools to strengthen the nervous system, heal trauma, and maintain optimal physical health. My goal as a yoga teacher is to make this ancient technology accessible to modern, everyday people seeking a gentle, affordable, and non-religious exercise practice for health and wellness. Sat Nam!
Kundalini yoga is an ancient technology which uses physical techniques to shift excessive mental energy down into the body where stress can be effectively processed out of our lives. The breath patterns, mantra sound vibrations, and exercises were developed thousands of years ago in the regions of of India and Tibet and help access the dormant quantum energy in your body, mind, and spirit. Kundalini yoga is called the ‘householder’s’ yoga in the East because it is for all shapes, sizes, and lifestyles.
